    Job Summary/Purpose: Perform routine maintenance tasks of imaging equipment of medium complexity, like stationary or portable Radiographic and Fluoroscopic X ray units and Specialty Ultrasound.
    Tasks include routine maintenance, moderately complex repairs and first response to trouble calls. Occasional off shift hours may be required.

    Minimum Training and Education:  Education: Associate's degree or equivalent military training in the area of Biomedical Technology, Electronics, Computing or Imaging or Nuclear technology. Must have valid SC driver’s license and be able to support offsite locations.  Experience and specialty training:  Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade complex instruments. At least 2 years’ experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a service environment.  Other Required Skills: Strong communication skills oral and in writing. Ability to work under stress. Ability to deal with difficult customers.

    Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Must have valid driving license and be able to support offsite locations.

(Frequent) Ability to push/pull objects to 50 lbs., unassisted. (Frequent) Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects at a distance. (Continuous) Ability to match or discriminate between colors.
